Brooke LaBarbera, LCSW is a former actor/model turned social worker/therapist. Some of Brooke’s entertainment history includes MTV’s The Real World: Denver, MTV’s The Challenge, and the 2008 and 2012 Rock the Vote campaigns. In 2011, Brooke graduated with honors from NYU with a master’s degree in Social Work. She has since worked in hospice care and with sexual assault survivors, and most recently in mental health, addiction and trauma. Brooke specializes as a therapist using DBT and CBT, which are evidence-based treatments. Brooke is known for her hilarious and blunt nature— keeping it real with the ever-present goal in mind to be the change around important social issues. Brooke resides in her hometown of Nashville, TN and enjoys church, hiking and spa days. Brooke can be hired as a speaker, trainer, educator or writer for your school, workplace, training or event.
